This is a collapsible wooden chair made for a fictional airline company with a bring-your-own-chair policy. It can carry about 150lbs and is built for children ages 3 and older. The seat can be adjusted to varying heights to grow with the growing child. The chair was created by Ellen Lee, Mandy Lin, and Emily Getty.
The chair was created using scrap wood and wooden dowels from the Wood Shop in TechSpark. It's fabrication taught me how to use a handsaw. Initial prototypes were made using scrap material from TechSpark and post-its.
